We acknowledge another
sad anniversary today…
Five
Long Years.
But we do not need
a special day to think
of you
As you are always
in our hearts and
minds.
The calendar continues
to record the days
And times of our lives
But since that one
day which redefined
life for us
We soldier on with
an aching heart knowing
each morning that
you are physically
gone from us.
We each carry our
sorrow and grief in
our own unique way
and though we are
learning to bear the
unbearable, unbidden
tears still continue
to flow as we realize
anew just what it
means to have lost
you.
No one will ever
fill the void you
left in our hearts
You know how much
we loved you and how
much we love you still.
Your love for us
continues to sustain
us and enables us
to reach out to others
in love.
We thank you for all
that you have given
us and are grateful
for the precious memories
we have of the days
when you still walked
among us.

Although our family
chain is broken and
nothing seems the
same, we know your
spirit remains close
to us and that one
day God will relink
the chain into a stronger,
larger and permanent
bond as God calls
us one by one to you,
each in his own time….
Until then my beloved,
just know that we
will always love you
and that we miss you
so very much.
You will remain dear
to our hearts from
now and into eternity,
